Lt. Gen. Jeremiah Useni

Plateau South, say: I hope to achieve a lot, the best I could. I am new because all these years I have been in the military, apart from being in the military, I have also held some political appointment, like Governor of a state, Minister of transport and Aviation, Minister of FCT, so I am in a new field now, not new exactly because I will still be interacting with people and I thought that this latter part of my life I should devote to legislation and helping the people both at local and national level.

During my campaign I realized that so many things were lacking especially in my senatorial district and I believe it happens in most of these senatorial districts , like ordinary foods and roads are not existing and we have so many farm lands and farm produce that cannot be moved to the city.

We need some bridges, pipe borne water, of course improve the agricultural standard and also provide them with the equipment, also to liaise with state and federal government were the construction of the road concerns the state and also for those that concern federal government.

I also had started rehabilitating schools even when I didn’t know I will win the election, it has been part of me to try and help the poor in anyway which I will continue to do and help build prayer houses, churches and mosques because we need spiritual richness in our state to be able to move on.’
