Adeola Solomon Olamilekan

There are a lot of issues on the front burner that is currently confronting my state and where we need Federal Government AdeolaSolomonOlamilekanintervention, both from the legislative angle and the executive angle. Coming to the senate will afford me the opportunity to look into the issues, work closely with the government and don’t forget this is the first time as a state we will be aligning with the government at the center so it is a great advantage to us and to ensure that our long time suffering which we have been enduring has finally come to an end.

One of the important issues at the front burner is the local government creation where 37 LCDA’s have been created over 10 to 15 years without any recognition of such in the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Secondly the issue of revenue allocation sharing formula not only in Lagos state but the entire 36 states and lastly, the issue of special status for Lagos state. These are some of the issues we will be looking at in the Senate and the National Assembly and with the Executive Arm of government.’
